We are two adventurous explorers, passionate about traveling. Sometimes, we simply hop on a random train and get off at whichever station we find ourselves at. On one such spontaneous evening, during a visit to a random mela (fair), we stumbled upon the idea for "Ratnãkara."

We discovered an amazing collection of handcrafted sea jewelry—ranging from pearls to beautiful conch pieces. The bhaiya (vendor) had an exquisite collection of sea stones, including blue, pink, and even tiger stones. We were instantly captivated!

We loved the collection so much that, right then and there, we decided to make these gems available to everyone by bringing them online.

The name "Ratnãkara" is derived from Sanskrit, meaning "the mine of gems" or "the sea." The sea and the beautiful craftsmanship of the village women are our true inspirations.

Meet us, Pushpak Roy and Trisha Bhadra. We are currently pursuing our BTech degrees, with a ton of dreams we are eager to turn into reality. Hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal, we share a deep passion for exploring, learning, and creating. Our entrepreneurial journey began with a spontaneous adventure, and now we are on a mission to build Ratnãkara Jewellery into a brand that resonates with nature, craftsmanship, and elegance.
